La Resistance contains some sections of highly technical gravel/unmade roads, with embedded rocks and loose surfaces. These sections require a lot of concentration when riding with a road/gravel bike, with the need to pick your line to avoid pinch flats etc. (they are also brilliant fun!).
In the spirit of La Resistance, this is a self-supported ride, and every rider must carry a spare tyre, at least two inner tubes and pump/CO2, so you can keep moving in case of minor problems such as punctures.
Mavic will be providing on course mechanical support via their fleet of cars and motorbikes. They will be able to assist with any major technical problems during your ride, and will carry spare wheels and bikes for calamities. They will not assist with punctures unless you have run out of tyres/inner tubes, or lost/broken your pump/inflation device!
